NYC in a couple weeks!

C & I are headed to NYC for the 2nd weekend in May.  I am so excited to get the camera out and start shooting again!  New York is one of my favorite places.

C got us reservations at Daniel in the city aaaaaaaaaaand it's ranked 11th in the world (scroll down to #11).

Can you see why I like this guy?  To be honest, I don't care about the fancy restaurants and nice hotels, I just  like spending time with him.  He's pretty amazing and he makes me laugh like no one has made me laugh before (see: side splitting).

Any suggestions for what we should do in NYC for a long weekend?

Coffee
Mnnnnn, coffee in Brooklyn.

If you can, you should try to make it out to Brooklyn. So many great places to eat, shop and have fun! Here are just a few:

Is this the same Aly that I drew in high school?! If not, sorry about the confusion!

When you two arrive in NY go directly to the Red Cat in the city. You won't regret it and make sure to order their divine Dark and Stormy cocktail.

PS. Thank you for the words of encouragement; they really do inspire to me to continue being creative :)

You neeeed to go to Brooklyn Flea! Chelsea also has some pretty great flea markets. (I'm a big fan of spending New York Sundays brunching and flea-ing.) Whatever you do, have a blast!

If you've never had a Junior's cheesecake, you have to try that while you're in New York.
