Bucket List

I've seen the 'Bucket List" post on a few blogs recently and it got me thinking: what do I want to do before I 'kick it' (the bucket, not a dance)

I'll give you the list I made in 2005 before I moved to New Zealand:

1. Move to New Zealand

2. Fall in love

3. Get a dog

4. Go skydiving

5. Go to Asia

6. Find a hobby that makes me happy

7. Have a job that pays the bills and then some

8. Scuba dive in Fiji

9. Live in Alaska

10. Learn a new language fluently

11. Have a close, core group of friends (4lyfe)

12. Buy a house (It was supposed to be 'buy a house in NZ' but, anywhere will do)

13. Learn to cook

I've come a long way since 2005, you guys.  I faced my fears and moved to a strange and wonderful country all by myself and made the most amazing friends.  I stayed over that way for over two years.  And while I don't have a job where I am making money hand over fist, I'm happy! I'm in love and I've done things I never used to think I was capable of doing.

In short, life is pretty good.

I didn't see you there, March.  It feels like Spring is creepin' on up on us, which is great!  I really dislike winter, although we have had quite a mild one.
